We rented a cabin near Soda Springs Idaho and spent a great weekend with Grandma Brenda,
Grandpa Jim, and Adam and Lisa's family. We visited Lava Hot Springs and played on the slides and pools, but took no pictures that day. We were too busy having fun! |

We took Mallory and Max on a special "older kid" trip. Holly had a great time at home with Grandma Brenda while we were gone. The kids loved the port excursions, and while we were on board their favorite things to do were the soft serve ice cream cones, swimming, Poolside movies, the comedian and improv shows. Mallory tried a lot of new foods like escargot (she liked it!) and Max ordered the same thing every night: chicken nuggets, fries, chocolate milk and chocolate ice cream for dessert. |

Dolphin Encounter, Chankanaab.
The dolphin encounter was awesome, but they wouldn't let anyone take
pictures and charged a fortune for their professionally done
photographs. We got to ride on the dolphins, holding on the one of their
fins, "kiss" them and pet them as they swam by.d |

Cenote #1
Cenotes are formed by water leaking through the top layer of soil and dissolving the limestone underneath. It forms a cave and then eventually the soil above collapses and leave the access hole from the top. We could swim and snorkel in the clear, fresh water. There were many Mexican Swallows making their mud nests on the walls and ceiling in each cenote and the water was cool. A little too cool for Max and his lack of body insulation. Some cenotes are very deep and connected to each other through underground water tunnels, but the ones we saw were shallow. The deepest sections were only 15 feet. |

| After we visited the second cenote, we were fed a delicious lunch by a local Abuelita. Unfortunately, the hibiscus juice was probably made with local water and we were all sick for a week afterwards. Max avoided getting sick because he "luckily" threw up his lunch on the roadside on our trip back to the ship from carsickness. |
