Mallory's birthday and party

We had a "piggy party" for Mallory's fifth birthday. It was all about pink pigs, and getting messy. It was also intended to be outside, but the weather had other ideas. Sheets and tarps came to the rescue.
We ate spaghetti, chocolate pudding, and applesauce with no utensils or hands allowed.

For breakfast, mallory chose french toast. And for dinner? Waffles. Fine by me, but the boys needed me to add some ham steaks.
Mallory had a wonderful day, and I couldn't stop thinking about how sweet and fun she always has been.

Last month's goings-on

This is a baby cap I made for a humanitarian project, and mallory thought that it should have been a kitty hat.
The 3-D Chuck was an anti-climax to say the least.

Ben really needs to stop napping in the living room. Doesn't he know that kids are no respecters of nap needs?

I found my camera chord! After Ben told me that I could have just inserted the memory card directly into the laptop. Oops.

Happy Valentine's Day, Max. Mallory chewed out this special message for Max from another valentines phrase that I had made for her. What a sweetheart.

Jason and I went to see the BattleshipTexas at San Jacinto Park for our Anniversary. I thought it was totally awesome, and I'm a girl who knows nothing about the armed forces, so that's saying something. No dumb tour guides, you just explore the multiple levels of the ship at your leisure. Dad would have loved the wall plaque display of every rope knot imaginable.

I just thought I'd mention that I can't find the chord which links my camera to the computer, so I haven't been able to download any pictures. It stinks, because I've got some really cute ones. I guess it's time to start looking in the unusual places like the fridge, garbage can, and under the kid's mattresses. Ring any bells, mom?
In the meantime, I've been doing some catch-up on baby books and I ran across some cute ones.
