max draws

This video isn't the greatest for drawing details, but he's doing excellent circles for an 18 month old, or even a 3 yr old. Also notice his hand position. It's better than mine.

Oh, Max.

I was trying to get a messy sucker face, but he looks cute anyway.

This is fool-proof evidence of our good natured cat. I told Max to give her a hug.

memory

Mallory received a memory card game recently and Jason and I had our next hard lesson in parenthood. She stomped us. And we were seriously trying! Here you can see Mallory's matches lined up on the bottom row, with Jason's and mine above. She doesn't even hesitate when she finds her match. She is very confident and frequently lifts up two at once because she is so sure. Has anyone else out there had one of these moments, where you realize you won't be letting your kid win forever? I guess the next step is when she lets us win.

We found this tree frog who likes to live in my corn. He's pretty cool looking, I think. I guess the proper name for him would be Josh-froggy. ;)

graduation and museum

Mallory's preschool "graduation." I like this picture because you can see her mouthing the letter sound.

We went to the Houston Children's Museum with Grandma Brenda! They had a very nice closed in place for babies and toddlers. Max could have stayed there for a week.

Mallory did her own face painting. I'm thinking Impressionism.

Mrs. Plastic cow actually had "milk" that squirted out. Interesting.
